Your territory will include an established customer base with plenty of room for growth.Your Primary Responsibilities Will IncludePromote and support Power/mation's product lines & services within assigned account baseDevelop new accounts by planning and performing sales calls, assessing customer needs, preparing quotes, closing orders, and following up on all related activitiesDeepen relationships with existing customers to increase market share at base accountsEffectively utilize internal and external resources including Business Development and Marketing to pursue strategic account growthQualificationsWe select employees who demonstrate a commitment to exceptional service along with an entrepreneurial spirit. We're seeking a hunter sales mentality and an individual with an appetite for aggressive account growth.Job-related Qualifications Are RequiredLocated in Iowa or IllinoisPrevious experience in a fully remote sales roleDemonstrated history of growing base account businessPrevious technical industrial sales experience, preferably in the automation industryStrong technical problem-solving skills and a background in mechanical, electrical, factory automation, or related engineering disciplinesProficiency in mechanical and electrical systems to effectively assist customers in product specification.Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and achieve results.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate product features and benefits to customers.Organizational prowess and effective time management to ensure thorough account coverage.Willingness to travel for Power/mation offices for training and developmentValid driver's license with acceptable driving historyAbout Power/mationWith a rich history dating back to 1961, Power/mation is at the forefront of the automation industry.
