Job Overview:
The Customer Success Manager / Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of automotive dealership clients. This is a highly client-facing role focused on building long-term relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving strong marketing performance across digital channels.
This role requires a strong combination of relationship management, digital marketing knowledge, strategic thinking, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate has experience working with automotive dealerships, understands key dealership marketing metrics, and is comfortable managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced agency environment.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned dealership and e-commerce clients
- Build strong relationships with client principals, general managers, and marketing stakeholders
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
- Lead bi-weekly and monthly client calls, presenting performance reports and actionable insights
- Respond promptly and professionally to client communications
Internal Collaboration - Act as the bridge between clients and internal marketing teams
- Work closely with specialists across Google Ads, Meta, SEO, and creative
- Ensure campaigns are executed accurately and delivered on time
- Communicate client goals, feedback, and priorities to internal teams
Account Growth - Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts
- Support upsell initiatives across additional media channels, SEO, and marketing automation
- Contribute to long-term client growth and retention strategies
Qualifications, Skills, and Key CompetenciesRequired: - Previous experience in a digital marketing agency environment
- Proven track record managing client relationships or accounts
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, analytics)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Preferred: - 3+ years of experience in the automotive industry
- Experience working with automotive dealerships or automotive marketing
- Familiarity with dealership CRMs and automotive marketing platforms
- Experience presenting marketing performance to dealership leadership
- Knowledge of GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and reporting dashboards
