Dollar General - - Responsibilities: Manages the Perishable Departments including produce, fresh meat, packaged meats, dairy, frozen food, bread, and thaw and sell bakery products.; Assist Store Manager with inventory management, merchandise presentation and customer service.; Assist in ensuring a safe working environment and protecting company assets.; Maintain correct perishable stock levels and assist in training associates in proper handling and presentation.; Record perishable markdowns and train associates in proper grading, stocking, and re-packaging to minimize markdowns.
