Our client looking to add a Benefit Consultant who will work with healthcare plans for primarily collectively bargained multi employer funds. Looking for someone who has a general benefit broker/consulting background. Having the Taft Hartley multiemployer piece is a plus,but client will teach the Taft Hartley/multiemployer piece, if needs be. Must have at least 3+ years of healthcare benefits consulting experience to be considered. Remote is an option for someone with a spot on match and comes to the table with multiemployer benefits consulting experience. Otherwise, likely needs to be based in Indianapolis area and work in a hybrid capacity.
This role will control the preparation of a variety of welfare reports for clients. Will also assist in conducting special studies, research projects, government filings, plan design, vendor selection, RFP's and data analysis of clients' financial health. Serve as lead point of contact for the assigned book of clients.
Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the legal regulations that are specific to Taft Hartley collectively bargained multi-employer plans, and how those guide benefit plans for those groups.
This is a client facing role and this position will own the client relationship. Will manage 6-8 clients who are primarily Midwest based. Some client meeting travel will be required throughout the year. Need to have healthcare piece to help clients navigate their benefits even thru negotiating with carriers.
This is a low stress, low turnover environment with a fairly consistent 37-40 hour work week.
