Equipment Operator

Location: Heber Springs Transfer Station

Pay Range: $20-22/hr., depending on experience | Weekly Pay

Schedule: MondayFriday | Start Time: 7:00 AM | 10+ Hour Days

Job Summary: Waste Connections is hiring an Equipment Operator for our Heber Springs Transfer Station. This is a physically demanding position ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating a front-end loader. In this position, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the transfer station.

What You'll Do:

• Back into the building to hook up to empty trailers, unhook the truck, and operate an excavator to move and manage solid waste at the transfer station
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area
• Perform daily inspections of equipment and report issues promptly
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation
• Follow all safety procedures and operational protocols
• Support team needs and step in wherever needed to keep operations moving

What You Need to Bring:

• 2+ years experience operating excavators and front end loader
• A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
