We are seeking a strategic and visionary Data Migration Lead to drive the end-to-end data migration strategy for our SAP ECC to S/XHANA transformation (RISE Private Cloud - Brownfield implementation). This role requires deep expertise in SAP data structures, strong solutioning capabilities, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and auditors.

The ideal candidate will not only manage the tactical execution of data migration but also define the strategic roadmap, align with audit and compliance requirements, and guide leadership through critical decisions. This role is pivotal in ensuring data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance throughout the transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Solutioning:

• Define and own the Data Migration Strategy and Blueprint, including scope, tools, governance, retention policies, and compliance controls.
• Lead solutioning workshops with business, IT, and audit teams to align on migration architecture and approach.
• Influence and guide stakeholders on best practices, risk mitigation, and audit-readiness.

• Act as the single point of accountability for all data migration decisions.
• Engage with executive leadership, auditors, SAP Value Assurance, and system integrators to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Present migration strategy, risks, and progress to steering committees and audit boards.

• Oversee the full lifecycle: extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, load, and reconciliation.
• Design and manage cutover plans, fallback strategies, and audit checkpoints.
• Ensure role-based access provisioning and temporary elevated access are compliant and traceable.

• Develop and maintain audit-ready documentation for each migration cycle.
• Implement and validate SOX and ITGC controls, including change tracking and access logs.
• Collaborate with internal/external auditors to demonstrate control effectiveness.

• 1X+ years of SAP experience, with X+ years leading strategic data migration in large-scale ERP transformations.
• Proven experience in solutioning and influencing stakeholders across business, IT, and audit domains.
• Deep understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data structures across modules (FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, etc.).
• Experience with SOX-compliant data migration and audit coordination.
• Hands-on experience with SAP DTV, Syniti ADM/ADMM, or similar tools.

• Experience with SAP GRC Access Control, RISE Private Cloud, and regulated industries (Life Sciences, Financial Services).
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and SAP Value Assurance frameworks.
