US Fertility is seeking a senior buyer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is disciplined, organized, customer focused and able to work under limited supervision and guidance. Having healthcare buying experience is preferred but not required. This role is not the typical buyer position but rather a hybrid; with the candidate having an overall understanding of all aspects of supply chain and able to contribute as priorities and initiatives warrant.

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Buyer II to join our team. This is a REMOTE full-time position. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

How You'll Contribute:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all procurement related issues and provides solutions based on best practices and world-class procurement principles.
• Review requisitions as required, and confer with end users regarding specification, delivery requirements, quality and quantity for supplies, equipment and services as required.
• Manage and resolve procurement exceptions and work with US Fertility Accounts Payable team on invoice exceptions.
• Research and challenge price increases reporting unresolved increases to the Director, Supply Chain.
• Proactively assist end users on expediting backorders/rejections, verifying acceptability of substitutes with end users to meet clinical requirements and timelines.
• Identify the most cost-effective means of securing non-contracted products/services supporting the Director of Supply Chain in contract negotiation to create the best value for US Fertility.
• Manages supplier contract compliance; and communicates non-compliance to the Director, Supply Chain, and stake holders to drive organizational behaviors to achieve best value & quality for US Fertility.
• Exhibits excellent customer service skills and behaviors to internal/external customers and coworkers.
• Identify ways to improve work processes and improve customer satisfaction. Makes recommendation to the Director, Supply Chain and implements and monitors results as appropriate in support of the overall goals and mission of US Fertility.
• Establish standard operating procedures for procurement operations.
• Creates analytical reports to assess category, supplier performance, end-user compliance.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) preferred.
• Experience in healthcare Supply Chain Management environment preferred.
• A minimum of three years' purchasing experience required.
• Prior experience with automated systems (COUPA preferred but not required).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, conscientious, independent worker.
• Demonstrated success in influence and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
