Job Details

LOD, a Consilio company, seeks attorneys with 5+ years of experience to join the LOD Attorney Team supporting a prominent national healthcare client. The ideal candidate will have some experience in contracts and/or healthcare contract language, medical claims review and analysis, as well as drafting demand letters relative to private payor cost recovery. This is a remote, full-time, hourly contract opportunity expected to last 3+ years for successful applicants. Up to 9 paid corporate holidays included.
Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of solid experience in contracts and contracts language, preferable in the healthcare field, either in-house or with a large law firm
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volume of case work and familiarity with insurance claim denials and denial-letter drafting
• Background in healthcare claims/litigation, contracts drafting, and medical billing is strongly desired
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and to work well with in-house counsel
• Experience and ability to work independently on a remote basis; desire to work long-term on a contract basis
• An active law license in good standing
