divh2Technical Product Manager/h2pThe Technical Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the full software development lifecycle for assigned products, in support of the VA Office of Connected Care. This position will be a fully remote position located within the United States./ppResponsibilities:/pulliManage the full software development process lifecycle for assigned product(s)/liliFacilitate strategy and prioritization discussions/liliTransform high-level vision into detailed action plans/liliBuild and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring prioritization aligns with customer needs, technical feasibility and stakeholder input/liliCollaborate with engineering, design, data, QA and operations teams to ensure product quality and delivery/liliLead and/or support sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review and retrospective sessions in partnership with the development team(s)/liliEnsure continuous communication across cross-functional teams to remove blockers, track progress, and maintain alignment/liliPartner with data teams to analyze product usage, optimize user experience, and define KPIs/liliUse Scrum Master experience or knowledge to foster agile best practices, improve team velocity and drive execution discipline/liliConsult and coordinate with experts and cross-disciplinary teams to conduct discovery and establish clear requirements that meet user needs/liliManage multiple projects, to include planning, risk management and mitigation, training and communication, regular status reporting, and associated documentation/liliLead and participate in dynamic meetings with cross-functional teams, orchestrating discussions and ensuring clear objectives are met/liliConceptualize, analyze, and advise clients on solution options to achieve their objectives/liliWork closely with strategic delivery partners, subcontractors, and vendors/liliCoordinate efforts across numerous teams through frequent and effective communication/li/ulpQualifications:/ppRequired Skills and Experience:/pulliBachelors with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)/liliAt least 7 years of experience applying product and/or project management principles in a healthcare and/or technical environment/liliManaging a product, or a suite of products from requirements gathering through the testing and production release cycle/liliBuilding products or complex feature sets from the ground up, organizing efforts to incrementally deliver on product direction and goals/liliExcellent presentation skills to include building slide decks and effective communication with executive leadership/liliStrong in Agile Project Management methodologies and procedures/liliProficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Agile Tools such as Jira/liliBachelors degree, and preferably also a masters and/or applicable certifications (PMP, ITIL, SAFe Agile)/liliAbility to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance/li/ulpPreferred Skills and Experience:/pulliArticulate the difference between product and project management and provide concrete examples of both/liliStrong emotional intelligence, enabling you to tailor your communication style and convey technical concepts across interdisciplinary teams/liliPrior experience working with or delivering solutions on the Appian platform/li/ulpCompany Overview:/ppGovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
