Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate billing systems to ensure timely invoicing and collection.
• Monitor customer accounts to identify discrepancies, non-payments, or delayed payments, and take appropriate action.
• Process payments, prepare bank deposits, and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, or account issues.
• Initiate collection efforts to recover outstanding payments.
• Process supplier invoices, including non-PO invoices, and prepare accounts payable checks and wire transfers.
• Maintain vendor and customer files while adhering to established procedures.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and customers to address inquiries and resolve issues.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, with the ability to quickly learn internal systems.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and customers professionally.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reconciling financial records.
• Ability to work independently in a quiet and focused environment.
• A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred but not required with relevant experience.
