Position Summary

Walmart's Supply Chain Product Team is at the heart of the company's global logistics network, driving innovations that optimize the flow of goods from suppliers to customers.

As the Principal Product Manager, you will lead Walmart's efforts to build an efficient recommerce platform that adds value to the business and supports environmental sustainability. This role focuses on creating innovative, tech-driven solutions to optimize reverse logistics and manage returned, refurbished, and resold products.

This position is based in Bentonville, Arkansas. We are not considering remote applicants, but a full relocation package is available for candidates outside the Northwest Arkansas area.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Walmart's recommerce systems and tools, ensuring alignment with business goals and sustainability objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end product development, from discovery and design to implementation, launch, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, data science, sustainability, and operations teams to deliver scalable and innovative recommerce solutions.
  • Use data analytics and customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and enhanced customer experience in resale, refurbishment, and recycling processes.
  • Conduct market research and stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to maintain Walmart's leadership in recommerce.

What you'll bring

  • Extensive experience in recommerce and refurbishment, with successful implementation of AI-driven platforms a significant advantage.
  • Experience with platforms used for product grading and creating item files for online resale of refurbished goods.
  • Expertise in data and insights platforms.
  • Willingness to mentor a team of product managers and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Ability to identify and implement new opportunities for supply chain innovation using emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, plus 9 years of product management experience.

Option 2: 11 years of product management or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, with 8 years of experience in product management, preferably in large-scale consumer-facing products. Supervisory experience and a background in creating accessible digital experiences following WCAG 2.2 AA standards are highly valued.
