Qualifications: • Experience in Oil and Gas Title: The ideal candidate will have significant experience examining abstracts of title, leases, contracts, and various legal documents related to the oil and gas industry. • Preparing Title Opinions: The role requires the ability to prepare comprehensive and accurate title opinions, which will involve thorough analysis and interpretation of title documents. • Regional Expertise: The candidate should have specific experience in reviewing titles in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and/or West Virginia, understanding local regulations and legal intricacies. • Curative Title Experience: Proven experience in curative title work is essential. This includes resolving title defects and issues to ensure clear and marketable titles. • Exemplary Writing Skills: Exceptional writing skills are crucial for drafting clear and concise legal documents, reports, and correspondence. • Attention to Detail: The position requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in all aspects of title examination and document preparation. • Independent and Efficient Work: The candidate must be able to work independently and efficiently, managing their time and workload effectively to meet project deadlines. • Educational Requirements: A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is mandatory, along with an active license in good standing.
